The Illusion of Time and Order

Since the dawn of civilization, man has counted, categorized, labelled, and constrained the experience of existence. The languages we speak, the calendars we follow, the clock we count; all are constructs of imposed order based on the perceptions of mankind. Chaos is closer than anyone truly understands. Perception is all that stands between what is (truth), and what is believed to be. From those who vow to cast off the shackles and strive forward on the endless quest for knowledge, to the most blissfully ignorant drone skimming the shallowest of existence, none of us can truly escape the concepts we've constructed in which we confine our selves. The scientific definitions that equate fact with truth have blinded us of our own ignorance. All facts are only things one believes to be true. Beliefs. Our limited ability to process the complexity that is this experience leaves us with just our perception of life and time. Once you eliminate beliefs, you're left with... Epiphany.

I chose to challenge myself to use all 9 of the required images, and I did. I also used several additional stock images in the mix. I've listed all images used in the making of this submission above. I would like to point out that not a single image used was an image of space/nebulae. Thank you to all the wonderful photographers who provided the stock for this project!
